Which one should you use?

  • An invoice requests payment and carries a due date and payment instructions. A receipt records a payment that has already been made.

  • Both tools share the same line-item and currency engine, so subtotals, discounts and tax behave identically across the two.

  • A logo is downscaled in your browser and embedded directly into the document. It is never uploaded.

  • Drafts can be kept in this browser using local storage. That is opt-in, it never leaves your device, and there is a delete control for it.

  • Numbering rules, tax treatment and record-keeping requirements vary by country. These tools produce a clear document; they cannot guarantee compliance in your jurisdiction.
